Privacy Policy

Document ID: PRI-LEGAL-PP-001 Effective: 2026-03-28 Version: 1.1
Privacy Status: Mostly Clear

PRI™ does not access your camera or take your photo. It shows you a picture of a monkey (or similar). However, we do use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which means Google collects certain usage data and serves personalized ads. Your photons remain safe, but Google may know you visited a prank website. We hope you can live with that.

Section 01

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how PRI™ Photonic Reverse Imaging System ("the Application") handles your information. The short version: it doesn't. The long version follows below for those who enjoy reading privacy policies (we respect your unusual hobby).

Section 02

To summarize: we do not collect your personal data directly. However, our third-party services (Google Analytics and Google AdSense) do collect certain data as described below. We still cannot photograph you through your monitor.

Section 03

How the Application Works

For complete transparency, here is exactly what PRI™ does:

Section 04

Camera & Hardware Access

PRI™ does not request access to your device's camera, microphone, or any other hardware sensor. The browser will never show a camera permission prompt from this application.

The "sensor readings," "photon flux," and "retinal echo" values displayed in the interface are entirely simulated using random number generation. No actual measurements of any kind are taken.

Section 05

Data Storage

PRI™ itself does not use server-side databases, cloud storage, or interdimensional data vaults. When you close the browser tab, all application state is gone.

However, the following cookies may be stored on your device by our third-party services:

Section 06

Third-Party Services

PRI™ uses the following third-party services:

These Google services may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interaction data. This data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

Google may use advertising cookies to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or by using the NAI opt-out tool.

Section 07

The "Download" Feature

If PRI™ offers a download button for the "captured photo," the downloaded image is one of the pre-loaded humorous images bundled with the application. The download is processed entirely within your browser. No data is sent to any server.

Section 08

The "Share" Feature

The share feature uses your device's native sharing capabilities (Web Share API) or copies a link to your clipboard. PRI™ does not independently transmit data to any social media platform. Any sharing is initiated by you and handled by your operating system or browser.

Section 09

Children's Privacy

PRI™ does not collect information from anyone, including children. The application contains no violent or inappropriate content — unless you consider showing someone a picture of a lemur instead of their own face to be emotionally devastating (in which case, we apologize to the lemur).

Section 10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our third-party services evolve or as regulations change. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly. We went from collecting zero data to letting Google do the collecting, so anything is possible.

Section 11

Your Rights

Under various data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have the right to:
